Florida Probation Blog
Notes on Florida probation law and practice, published when there is something worth saying rather than on a schedule.
No articles published yet
The blog is set up and the template is in place, but nothing has been written. It is deliberately empty rather than filled with short general posts.
A run of thin articles restating what the main pages already cover would dilute the site rather than add to it, and search engines treat volumes of near-duplicate legal content as a quality problem — not a signal of expertise. Articles will appear here as they are written and reviewed by a Florida attorney.
What will go here
Material that does not fit the reference pages: changes to Chapter 948 and what they mean in practice, notable appellate decisions on revocation and early termination, and observations about how particular circuits handle these motions once there is enough experience to say something useful.
Each article will carry the date it was published and the date it was last reviewed, because probation law changes and an undated article is of limited use.
In the meantime
The reference material is the substantive part of this site. Resources organises it by the question you are trying to answer, and Florida probation law covers the statutes.
